Saying farewell to Summer.

My longarm quilter, Debbie Sanford, dropped off the summer quilts I recently finished. The fabrics I used are all leftovers of other quilts. I find it hard to throw away fabric - actually, I find it impossible. So I'm happy to use up some of my bright fabric stash.  

I will post pictures of the individual quilts as soon as I have added the bindings. Which I'm planning to do before I start my Christmas projects. I promise!

I also finally got my pumpkins today. Real pumpkins for outside! There will be a picture and pattern for a pumpkin table runner or hot pad on my blog soon. Till then, here's the outside of my back door:
